The project consists of the construction of four single-family residences east of Kendricks Cove in Lexington, Davidson County, North Carolina as part of the Yachtsman’s Point Subdivision. The subdivision will be constructed on an approximately 19.6-acre tract of vacant land and will be subdivided into 4 lots including waterfront access areas consisting of aluminum piers and floating docks. The subdivision will be accessed from an existing paved two lane road. The lot lines adjacent to the shoreline will be a minimum of approximately 200 linear feet wide. Water depths approximately 75-feet from the shoreline were measured by Cube Yadkin, LLC on August 11, 2026.

The Chunk Mitigation Site proposes to restore approximately 6,300 linear feet of stream (valley length). Stream restoration efforts are designed to restore a braided, D-type stream system in a low-gradient valley and will be conducted using the Coastal Plain guidelines (USACE et al. 2007). Where it enters the Site, the stream will be diverted from its current ditched location into a historic topographic valley that was identified by QL2 LiDAR (Figure 6, Appendix A) and verified during field investigations. In the lower reaches, where the existing feature enters and follows the historic alluvial valley, spoil piles along both banks will be removed where appropriate, and the existing channel will be abandoned using a series of plugs, fill, and woody habitat structures. Restoration at the Site is expected to entail 1) channel diversion, 2) channel stabilization, and 3) ditch/channel backfill.

Proposed project involves the construction of a 2,500-foot, 16-inch diameter gravity sewer main that will connect the Regency Estates sewer network directly to the Town’s main sewer outfall line, allowing for the abandonment and removal of the existing Regency Lift Station. The new pipeline will include sixteen (16) 5-foot diameter sanitary sewer manholes for access and maintenance. The new sewer main will follow a route along an existing surface water drainage corridor, minimizing environmental disruption and construction costs. A portion of the sewer line, approximately 560-feet, will be installed using directional boring to safely pass beneath US Highway 64, its on/off ramps, and Red Oak Road, ensuring minimal traffic disruptions and compliance with Department of Transportation regulations.

Replacement of the AVGAS Fuel System at the airport’s fuel farm will help improve safety of aircraft operations by reducing constrains to aircraft parking and maneuvering in the terminal area.
